My friends' baby girl....

Well here's a page layout I did for a friend of mine. Remember my first "cupcake" layout? Well her baby girl is almost 6 weeks now (wow that flew by fast!) and she had her month old pics made. So I made her a page for them AND used my new Storks Delivery cartridge from Creative Memories! (Well have had it for a few weeks now but finally just used it.) Yay! I finally got the page to her so now I can post it. :) I knew she'd see it otherwise but here it is!

I love love this layout! So pleased with how it turned out. She really liked it too! Yay!

Birthday card for a special friend....

I hope everyone has had a great week! Yayyy tomorrow is Fridayyyyy!

Well I made this card for my friend Michelle Townsend. She is such an inspiration in my life. She means so much to me and I'm so thankful that God has put her in my life because she is truly a blessing! I could go on and on about her but if I write too much more about this special lady, I'm gonna tear up. But I love you Michelle and hope you enjoyed your card!

I know that she enjoys purses so I used my Paisley cartridge for the purse image and the "shop til you drop" sentiment on the inside. I also used my Celebrate with Flourish cartridge for the "happy birthday" sentiment on the front.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Birthday cards!

Happy Monday everyone!

Well, I made some birthday cards for my daughters' new daycare teachers Judy and Debi!  They share the same birthday.....on March 11th.  Carley just moved into this class - the Toddler 1 class and is doing well in there.  She's the youngest right now of course but they said that she's adjusting well to their schedule and their way of doing things.  It's so cute because just for example, they teach them to wash their hands before eating and it's just adorable to see her climb up on the little step ladder and reeeeeach across the sink to wash her little hands!  Just precious.  But back to the cards.... :)

I got my newest cartridge, Create A Critter last week and could NOT wait to use it!  It truly has so many cute images and sentiments on it.

I really hope they enjoy their cards!  I had fun making them! :)

Have a great week!

Another card....

Happy Saturday everyone!!
It is so beautiful here in NC today and it just makes me happy!!  :)  Well, last night I created another Congrats card for Emma Grace's other grandmother!  Hoping she doesn't see it on here before I give it to her at church Sunday, but I couldn't wait to post it!  I just got all girly on it!  I used the same paper on it that I used for "Princess"  Lillian's card because I loved it with the purple and the lace, etc.
I just received my new Cuttlebug machine too and of course had to grab some random scrap paper and cut something and emboss something!!  haha!  Well, I thought they were so cute that I decided to use them on this card!  Why throw them away!?!

For the front of the card, I used my Classic Font cartridge once again for the "Congrats" sentiment and my Martha Stewart doily punch as well as random lace and ribbon.  Oh and you gotta have pink Stickles on a girly card, right?

And here's the inside......I know I probably went a little crazy, but the inside is as important as the outside, right?  I used StampCraft hands and feet stamps with pink ink to dress up the pink polka dot paper from Creative Memories Delight paper pack.  Here I'll write the new Grandma a note congratulating her on her new grandaughter! :)  She is so proud!

And here in a close-up, you'll see my new Cuttlebug creations that I just couldn't throw away!  I decided to ink the edges of the pink Baby die cutouts so they'd show up better and added some CM flowers (Yes, I use these a lot because I think they are just too cute!) with pop dots.  I used the embossing folder that came with my Cuttlebug (I don't even know what it's called!!) on the light green patterned paper and thought that it just went well with my CM flowers! I can't wait to give her this card on Sunday!

Going to try and make a few more cards this weekend, but we'll see what happens!  I will post them of course as soon as I finish!  Have a great weekend all!  It's soooo pretty outside! :)

A Card for a Birthday Princess!

A co-worker's granddaughter is having her 1st birthday this week and her mommy told me that she was having a Diva Princess themed birthday party!  Sounds like lots of fun for sure!  So I made her a card "fit for a princess"!  :)
I actually only cut a couple of images with my Cricut using the Sweet Treats cartridge.  I cut the "happy birthday" sentiment and on the inside of the card, I cut the "1" candle (see below).  Now if I had the Once Upon a Princess cartridge (which I'd love to own having my own daughter of course it would come in handy!) I would have cut many images more than likely; so since I don't have it, I used 3D sticker embellishments from K&Co.

I also threw in some lace, ribbon, a monogram "L" sticker from Creative Memories (since the princess is named Lillian!), and even some sparkly glue!  I thought it added a nice touch to the sentiment as well as to the center of all the flower stickers....even on the inside!

I really hope she enjoys this Princess card and has a wonderful 1st birthday!
Happy Birthday Princess Lillian!

Everyone, have a great week!
