Well, I made this card for a dear friend of mine who we call "Diva"! She's been a great friend to me over the years and recently has ventured out and started making tutu's. She made one for my daughter Carley and it is just precious!! It is called the Tinkerbelle Tutu! You can find her on Facebook at Diva's Place and order one for your special princess! Isn't it beautiful?
For the card, I used several cartridges.....I used my new Everyday Pop Up Cards for the beautiful butterfly! For the tag and the letters for "Diva", I used the Creative Memories Storks Delivery cartridge! Now it's not shown in this picture, sorry.... (because I added it later before giving it to her), but to the right of the butterfly I added the sentiment "Thanks" in the pink and black layers. It was cut from the George & Basic Shapes cartridge. I loved the pink and black colors in the card.....and she did too! :) She also has a birthday coming up Monday so we'll see what I can come up with for that! :)

It's a Boy....
I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! I made this card last week for the baby shower for a friend of mine on Saturday. She's of course having a boy and so I couldn't wait to use my CM Storks Delivery cartridge! I thought it turned out right cute!

Happy Birthday to my Mother-In-Law Nancy!
Happy Birthday to my Mother-In-Law Nancy! We enjoyed a great Japanese dinner with her tonight! Mmmm! I made this card and page layout for her and she loved them! Yay! :)
She is all into gardening, flowers, and working in the yard so I made her a card to show just that! I just got the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge (my new favorite) and used a bunch of different images to portray her gardening hobbies the best I could. I also used the Sweet Treats cartridge for the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.
I even decorated the inside to carry on the gardening theme! I loved this little wagon on the PDDU cartridge! Too, too cute!

For her gift, I framed this page layout that I created of our family. This was one of the only pictures of me, my husband, and Carley that we've managed to have taken so she was very happy with this layout. Of course, anything with Carley in it she is thrilled about anyway. I even took the time to ink the edges of everything and I think that it turned out great! My own mother liked it so much, that well, guess what.....she'll get one too so I've gotta start hers! :) (Her birthday is next Saturday!) :) For this layout, I used the Going Places cartridge for the "Family" sentiment and the George and Basic Shapes for the flower. I really like this so much that I may just have to make one for myself! :) LOL
I hope that everyone is having a great week! Happy Spring Break! :)

Encouragement Card for Mickey
My best friend's mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a couple weeks ago and will endure some tough roads ahead with various treatments and surgeries. I just wanted to let her know that she has God to lean on through these days ahead and that He will take care of her and her family no matter what. She is a dear and sweet lady and means much to me. If you will, please keep her in your prayers as she and her family go through these trials. I made her this card to keep her spirits up! Love you Mickey!

My First Party Favor project....for Easter!
OK so I thought I would get a headstart on making the Easter treats for my daughters daycare class and I have finished them already! I'm so proud of myself for getting them done. I also thought while I was at it, I would make some for the little kiddos at church too. I ended up making 24 total. Whew was that was a lot of repetitive cuts, folds, and ribbons to tie! But oh they turned out so cute I thought! :)
I used several cartridges for this project. I used the Sweet Treats cart to make these cute lil boxes! Then of course I used the Create a Critter cart for the cute little Lamb and the tag for Carley's name! I used the Simply Sweet cart for the tag image for the Cross and verse. Now you that are familiar with this cartridge are probably thinking......the tag is upside down!?! Yes, that's correct, it is! With the font on that cartridge, the lowercase letter "t" looks more like a "t" or a Cross upside down rather than the way it's supposed to be! So that's how I used it! Then I simply printed the "He Lives!" sentiment and verse reference on my computer and cut them to attach to the tags. The Cross tags, lambs, and the "from Carley" tags were all attached with pop dots for dimension.

Close-ups!
So to finish these off, I added in some Easter grass, eggs, and candy & treats for an adorable mini Easter basket! I can't wait to give them out! :)

Happy Birthday Gavin!
Happy 8th birthday to a great curious sweet boy! Tomorrow is his Jedi birthday party and I'm sure it will be fun! Maybe Carley can be a mini Jedi along with Sawyer (Gavin's baby brother)! :) Well of course there isn't a Star Wars cartridge (but wouldn't that be cool?) so I came up with something fun which is what Gavin is all about! I hope he enjoys this card but then again.....he is a BOY! ;) Maybe if it flew or made noises....... :-)
But I used my Sweet Treats and Create a Critter cartridges to create this fun card. I love the bright, bold colors on this card and of course Stickles are always fun right? :)
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rubber Ducky, You're the One!
Hope everyone is having a great week!
Well I just wanted to share a project I made.....I made this for Holly! Yes, the one that just had the birthday! Well, see I went to her birthday party and I have to say that her bathroom inspired me to do this project! Yes, I said her bathroom! haha! She had the cutest bathroom of bright colors and rubber duckies everywhere! I loved it! So I remembered that I had a rubber ducky picture of my daughter when she was 6 months old and just went with it! I made this to go in an 8 x 10 frame and I hope she will love it! I'm going to give it to her at church tonight so hopefully she won't see it on here beforehand. :)

Have I mentioned that I LOVE this cartridge?? :)
Up close of the ducky and bubbles!
I used Stickles on the bubbles and water splash on the sentiment "Splash". So fun! :)
Have a great rest of the week everyone!

Happy 18th Birthday Holly!
I whipped up this birthday card for a cool "chic" last night. :) I hope Holly likes it! She is turning 18 and is beautiful young lady....inside and out!
I used my Create a Critter cartridge for the chick, my Sweet Treats cartridge for the "birthday" sentiment and my Paisley cartridge for the "chic" sentiment. I really liked how this turned out!
Hope you're all having a great weekend!
