Well, Happy Birthday to someone.......you see, I actually made this card without having a recipient for it! This is such a FIRST for me! If any of you know me well, every post and creation I have made has been for someone specific! Well, when I made this card, I didn't have anyone in mind really....I was just playing with this specially folded card and so it became a birthday card! :) I love how it turned out and I love the bright colors! So someone I'm sure will receive this card before too long....because as you all know, I just love to make things for those I care about, so I know this card will have a home soon! :) So onto the card.....
As you can see, I've added layers and some pop dots for dimension! And of course some bling with a rhinestone in the middle of the snail shell! :)
I used the Paisley cartridge for the cute snail and the Creative Memories Stork's Delivery cartridge for the sentiment tag layers. I inked all the cuts as well as the edges of the card and added accents with my white gel pen too. I added a strip of coordinating paper and then ribbon as well to the right of the inside flap and with how it folds, it shows up nicely when lying flat.
Like I mentioned, I was playing with folding the card in different ways and come up with this....not sure what you'd call it, but I thought it turned out cute nonetheless! It looks like the snail is going to crawl right off the card! :)
Then on the inside, I finished it off with a sentiment from my stash of random stamps.
I hope you're all having a great week!
