Hello everyone! Tracy at Craft Junkie Too asked her Design Team to make a project of our choice using the materials and supplies we chose. Being creative and fun is exactly what we did! :) There are some great projects our team created! You should have arrived here from Kadie's site from Kards by Kadie.....if you want to start at the beginning, just visit Tracy's site at Craft Junkie Too to follow along!
So on to my project......
I created a photo/recipe card holder!
I purchased this jumbo clothespin (6" tall) at AC Moore for just a little over $1. Then I painted it with some paint I had already. I traced the flat surfaces on the opposite sides of the clothespin onto the back of some matching patterned paper (K&Co - Best of Brenda Walton). Then cut it out and glued it onto the clothespin. Once this dried, I used a sanding block and sanded all the edges where the paper was glued to get the excess paper off as well to give it a distressed, "worn" look. I thought it turned out so cute!
Below are pictures of it with my daughter Carley's 4 month old picture and also a picture of it holding a recipe. This would really be handy in the kitchen so it doesn't get messed up! I know I'm kinda messy in the kitchen sometimes! :)
I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did. Everyone I've showed it to loves it, so I plan on making more for gifts!
You're next stop should be with Roberta over at Tx Scrapper Mom! Have fun!
.......And have a great week!

Shelley: LOVE your giant clip holder - How fabulous would these look in my (pink) studio. Going over to San Diego this weekend and will have to put these giant clips on the list of things I'm looking for. Thanks for sharing and LOVE visiting your blog. Kadie (fellow CJToo Design Team Member)
