My Crafty Friends!

Thank you "Berry" much Michelle!

I made this card for a dear friend of mine, Michelle.
She is so sweet, caring, and encouraging......just a few of the many great things she is!  She always makes me smile and feel good about myself and I love her very much!  She recently gave me some scrapbooking supplies that she said she did not use anymore....I said, "No, you might use them sometime" and she just shook her head and said "Nope, you can have them".  She gave me a Fiskars organizing caddy on wheels that had NEVER been used!  And she also gave me a Provocraft eyelet setter tool kit which I was so excited about!  I had been wanting one for awhile and was about to purchase one!  I used it on my mom's mini album and it worked great!  I loved using it!  No hammering involved which means I won't wake up Carley while crafting!  LOL

But onto the 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card.....I used my Martha Stewart doily punch on the patterned paper I adhered to the red cardstock.  I used my Country Life cartridge to cut the strawberries and the "Berry Sweet" sentiment.  I cut the strawberry and its layers on the front at 2 1/2".  I recycled the cardboard from an oatmeal box to cut the sentiment at 1 3/4" - shadow included from one of the red cardstocks I used on the strawberry layers.  I used my white gel pen for accents, a brown satin ribbon, and pink rhinestones to finish off the front.

For the inside, I just adhered a plain 5" x 5" sheet of green paper and accented around it with the white gel pen.  I then added a strip of coordinating patterned paper (from the front) to cover the ends of the ribbon and added a smaller strawberry cut at 1" - shadow included - and just added "seeds" with a brown marker.  I used recycled oatmeal box cardboard for the little strawberry as well. :)

Thank you again Michelle! You are 'berry' sweet!  :)
